Beginning with the work of Renaissance astronomers like Copernicus, Brahe, and Galileo in the 16th century, the geocentric view of the cosmos was overturned and hence the Church’s absolute authority in interpreting reality. The Scientific Revolution soon followed and the modern age was born where science more than faith played a major role in how we view the cosmos and ourselves. Join Dr. Ruzicka as he explores Renaissance materialism, the Scientific Revolution, Romanticism, Pragmatism, and Existentialism, and helps us understand where we are today.
This course offers the option to participate in a guided cohort, which begins on March 25. More information on the guided cohort is available in our FAQ.
